Each user in the agency must have a unique login.

The first login is to access the BUSCHBACH network.

User ID:  Assigned per user
Password:  Assigned per agency

The second login is the same for all users in the agency.

User ID:  Buschbach Assigned Broker Code
Password:  Assigned per agency

Once you have access to the system you will be able to enter new customers
or retrieve previously quoted customers.  The only menu option you will use
is Daily Work -> Quote

Customers can be looked up by last name or quote number.

Once you have selected a customer or entered a new customer you are presented
with the Customer Census page.  Name and address are required.

The Quote Information fields are along the top of the Customer Information Screen. Please
note that each field has an arrow pointing down. This means that it is a drop down field that
has options for the answer. Whenever you have one of these fields, remember that typing the
first letter of an answer will select it for you. After answering the Leased Vehicle question,
Quotepro will automatically take you to the next screen.

The first thing you should note is the driver number in the blue header of this window.  In the event that you enter information on more than one driver you can tell which driver’s information you are viewing. In the driving record section you have a general question about the driver’s record and whether the driver requires a financial responsibility filing. There is an area for entering any moving violations the driver may have. Be certain to indicate all violations.

To add additional drivers, Select Next Driver / F2

Vehicle usage and occupation are very important as they may indicate business
usage which should be referred to the Commercial Auto Department.

 

Once completed adding all drivers in the household you will be prompted for vehicles.

In order to provide an accurate quote it is best to enter the VIN.  If not available,
you can select the Make/Model.

To add more than one vehicle select Next Veh / F3.

Be sure to indicate Roof type and any optional equipment that may require a
surcharge.  Do not include alarm discount unless you have an affidavit from the
installer.

Liability coverage limits default to the state minimum with $1,000 medical.

By default physical damage will be quoted at $250/$500 deductibles.  You can
select higher if necessary.

Once you have completed entering all information select Quote / F10 to rate.

On the Best Buy screen you will see all of the companies available for this risk.

You may change the term by selecting Term / F6

To choose the company select Coverage / F8.  You will see a drop down list of
companies.  Select the company and choose a deductible for physical damage.

Once a company has been chosen, select Payment / F9

If financing through Suburban EZ Premium is requested, please enter the
information on the following screen.  If not, select Cash.

The next step is the application.  You may wish to print the worksheet or Input/
Best Buy Screens.  These will printer to your Windows default printer, or check
Select Printer and you will be prompted to choose a printer.

Once you have selected Input and Print App.  You will see a multi-tab page.

You can use the Mouse to select fields or use the Tab and Pg Up/Pg Dn buttons.

There are a number of additional questions that are required to issue a policy.
Be certain to answer all of them for each driver on the policy.

If there are any excluded drivers they should be entered at this time.  The exclusion
form will print in your office when the application is submitted.

The vehicle screens are very straight forward.  There is a VIN check that will
prompt you if it is incorrect.  You can bypass this, but it is not recommended.

Once you have reached the General Info tab you can select policy effective dates
Binding date and time are entered automatically.  Please be sure to enter a
user name to indentify who entered the application.

If you retrieve an old quote you may be promted for a new binding date and time.
You should always use the current time unless you are reprinting the same day.

For certain companies you may be prompted to upload to the company.  If you
do not see this screen it is not a problem.  All applications are bound and
issued through the Buschbach Agency.

When printing worksheets, finance contracts, Id cards or Car's Breakdown you
can Select Printer and you will be prompted to choose what printer.  Do not choose
Broker as this will print in the Buschbach Office.

The following is the Insurance Identification Card screen.  These can be used as
temporary proof of insurance until the policy is issued.

Once you have completed rating/issuing, be sure to select Save/Exit - F9

To exit the system just select Exit from the menu.
